Examples of a one-on-one PARR Hands-on Session Reports

Hello Fellow Parr Members,

I have been using PARR for over Two years, and I should have attended this session much earlier, during my learning curve. The methods learned in the Sharpshooter book and the DVD's were priceless of course, but the HANDS on Critique is Equally Necessary.

Walt gave me the specific critique I needed. His Pearls of Wisdom I may have, or May Never have discovered my self. That's why you need someone else, not only to see your weaknesses but also to point out your strengths.

Walt confirmed a lot of things I was doing Right, and I was glad about that since it confirmed all my practice was worthwhile, and I did not develop any permanent or " hard to unlearn" bad habits.

Employing two of his suggestions that evening, produced a very good winning night.

To all the Coaches,

I was so happy that I was able to attend the Saturday PARR Clinic. I learned techniques to help me improve my game and I also learned about betting strategies. So much great information and quality coaching.

After the session on Saturday, I went back to Resorts to play and WOW was my session excellent. I tossed for a very long time, through 2 changes of table dealers! I was a little less conservative in my betting than usual and did very well.

Curly: the adjustment you made in my finger grip was right on target. It made all the difference!

Thanks again Curly, Walt and Houdini.

Player reports after PARR Group Session:

Walt immediately gave me a few suggestions that improved my toss. Instead of trying to soften my throw he moved me to SL2. I have tried forever to work from SL1 and I always landed to close to the wall. I am tall and wasn't able to adapt to SL1. He told me I had a hitch in my shoulder before my backswing and he shortened up my backswing. My arm was also too stiff. My toss became smoother and fluid.

I left feeling much better about my game.

After Dealer School Session Report

Threw for a while betting the minimum until I got comfortable.

It didn't take long for the dice to start coming off my fingers softly and traveling down the table perfectly straight and together hitting the felt lightly and bouncing softly against the wall. I started to increase my bets, played the iron cross and started winning. I dropped the field when I started hitting inside numbers. I threw at least 4 different times making 2-3 points and many numbers.

Others came to play and I used the hot roll finder minimizing my exposure. The table started to get crowded and my toss started to deteriorate so I left the table up about 40 units.

I have been trying to influence dice for 2-1/2 years and never felt like I had any influence before. I joined PARR 6 months ago. At this point the challenge for me is to have the same confidence and play well again and play well at a crowded table.
